Search results page redesign.
Redesign of the search experience to assist users (buyers) to obtain pertinent information needed for them to purchase.

Problem Statement
Auction.com's Search Results Page (SRP) was not effectively helping users find and purchase foreclosed homes. Users struggled with filtering options and listings, making it difficult to narrow their search. As a result, they often failed to progress to the Property Detail Page for further due diligence, impacting their purchasing decisions.

Define – Structuring the Problem
Through user feedback and behavior analysis on the Auction.com search results page, it became clear that users were struggling to find key content needed to make informed decisions—such as auction dates, whether a property had a reserve, and the availability of property images.
To address this, I facilitated a cross-functional workshop to align on what high-level content should be surfaced in the listing cards and category filters. We aimed to define which data points were most critical and how they should be presented to support user needs across a variety of search behaviors.
This effort was broken into two focused studies: one on the hierarchy and clarity of property details, and another on the relevance of property pill categories. Using a card sorting exercise, we gathered insights on how users grouped and prioritized information, which directly informed the structure of the redesigned results experience.

The results validated a few of my teams assumptions as well as some surprises.
From the study, we confidently validated the importance of displaying price, property status, and auction date—these consistently ranked as top priorities for users when evaluating listings.
A surprising insight emerged around category preferences: users showed a strong preference for identifying "Vacant" properties, as these are perceived to involve fewer logistical challenges and are more appealing for buyers interested in flipping homes. This finding helped us rethink how we categorize and prioritize filters in the search experience.
